Please read these terms before using Quick Recall. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Who we are
Quick Recall ("we", "us", "our") operates the flashcard study app at quickrecall.ca. These terms govern your use of the website and any related services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Quick Recall. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at alantester696@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of someone else without their consent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Quick Recall for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these terms.
- Upload content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringes anyone's intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to create accounts or submit content in bulk without our prior written consent.
5. Your content
The decks and flashcards you create ("your content") remain yours. By using Quick Recall, you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you.
We do not claim ownership of your content, sell it, or share it with third parties for purposes other than running the service. You can delete your content or your entire account at any time from your Profile page.
6. Intellectual property
The Quick Recall name, logo, and the software powering the service are our property. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the right to use the service as described here.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep Quick Recall running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time. Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of material changes.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Quick Recall is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Use of the service is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).
10. Termination
- By you: you can stop using Quick Recall and delete your account at any time from Profile → Account.
- By us: we may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the service or other users. We will generally try to notify you before doing so unless the breach is serious.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify users by email where we have your address on file. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
